Latest reviews on Ludlow's beaches

Portishead Beach
10 Mandy

Fantastic spot for a family outing. There's free parking and plenty of activities to keep everyone entertained. You can pedal around the pond in a flamingo, let the kids enjoy the trampolines, feed the ducks, and explore a large play park and skate park. Take a stroll along the waterfront and check out the outdoor gym equipment. There's also a Lido, which we might try on our next visit! You could easily spend an entire day here. The café was excellent for lunch and offered reasonable prices.

Traeth Abermaw beach

This beach is simply stunning. It's almost as if the sand and sea were handpicked from the most picturesque postcards. And for those who prefer to avoid the company of dogs, you're in luck - one side is entirely canine-free. The water is crystal clear and pristine, and there are plenty of dining options nearby to satisfy your hunger. But let's be real, who needs food when you have such a breathtaking view?

Ynyslas Beach

This beach is incredibly huge. It's extremely welcoming to dogs, as we encountered numerous furry friends during our visit. The dunes provide a delightful pathway to stroll through, although it can be challenging if you're carrying a lot of things. The dune area is teeming with rabbits. There's a stretch of rocks, perfect for collecting and painting, followed by a spacious beach since the sea is quite far out. However, during our second visit, the beach was filled with jellyfish of different sizes, which deterred us from taking a swim. If you happen to be in the Aberystwyth area and prefer a softer sandy beach, I highly recommend this one.

Aberdyfi beach
10 Aurelien Thompson

This idyllic coastal destination is ideal for a leisurely stroll with your loved ones or a brisk jog with your furry friend. Boasting over three miles of pristine sand and towering dunes, it's a true haven for outdoor enthusiasts. The breathtaking Welsh landscape is on full display here, showcasing the region's natural splendor at its finest.

Aberaeron Beach

This place is absolutely adorable. There is an abundance of beautiful scenery to discover, and the vibrant houses add an extra level of excitement. The harbor offers numerous dining options.

Borth Beach

This beach is a fantastic place to unwind and I feel nostalgic about not being able to live here anymore. I make it a point to visit as often as I can, and I always encounter friendly locals. It's definitely worth stopping by.
