The beach was simply amazing and offered a serene environment with very few visitors during this time of the year (October). It was a delightful experience to just sit on the rocks and observe the majestic sea. The sunset was absolutely breathtaking and added to the beauty of the place.

This destination is a must-visit. Fairbourne is a quaint and peaceful town, with a limited number of amenities. The train service runs hourly, alternating between north and southbound journeys. You may opt to board the charming steam engine that will take you to the Barmouth ferry crossing in a matter of minutes. Alternatively, you can take a leisurely stroll to the beach. The beach is stunning, with endless stretches of soft sand. There is ample parking available for those who arrive by car. For those who prefer not to venture onto the beach, there are comfortable seats positioned alongside the wall. At first, there may be some stones, but these are likely there to break the tide.

The beach is a delightful expanse of soft sand, although it requires a bit of effort to traverse the pebbly stretch before reaching it. The shoreline stretches out for miles, providing ample space for leisurely strolls or energetic runs. The gradual slope of the beach into the water is ideal for those who prefer a gentle entry into the sea. The area is pleasantly peaceful, making it an ideal spot for relaxation and soaking up the sun. There are two parking lots available, ensuring that visitors will have no trouble finding a place to park. Additionally, the beach offers a unique attraction in the form of a miniature steam train, adding an extra touch of charm to an already lovely location. It is definitely worth taking the time to explore this beautiful beach.

The beach may seem secluded, but it's far from peaceful. The gorgeous views are nothing but a facade, as the sand is littered with trash and the water is murky. The parking situation is a nightmare, with the machine out of order and the only alternative being the inconvenient paybyphone app. The nearby cafe is nothing to write home about, and the lack of other dining options makes it a depressing spot for a picnic.

The beach is truly delightful. During the summer season, one side of the beach is open to dogs, providing them with ample space to frolic and play. The beach is also home to an ice cream shop, and is conveniently located near the Fairbourne railway stop and parking facilities. Our experience was very positive, and we would definitely recommend this beach to others.
