We hiked across the cliffs, hillside, and beaches from Eyemouth and arrived at this absolutely wonderful stopping point. The location is perfect, with plenty of benches available. The staff inside were friendly and welcoming, and the iced coffee and milkshake were delicious. There was a good selection of food and drink; we only had a cake, which was also great (made by Loughs in Eyemouth, so we knew it would be lovely). It is on the expensive side, but like many places like this, it's a captive market, so they can raise prices.
This beach is absolutely gorgeous! There's free parking available right on the seafront and on some of the adjacent streets. The beach itself is beautifully clean and there are plenty of food shops, ice cream stalls, and vans scattered throughout the area. It's a very serene place and not overly crowded.
