Latest reviews on Ridgecrest's beaches

Silver Strand Beach
10 Mason Drake

This beach in Ventura county is a top pick for many visitors. The beach is well-maintained, the water is stunning, and there are miles of shoreline to explore. Restrooms are conveniently located for public use, and while parking is free, it can be limited during peak hours. It's best to arrive early to secure a spot.

Harbor Cove Beach
10 Ricardo Sanchez.

This beach offers free parking and is dog-friendly. The bay and beach are stunningly beautiful.

Sunset County
10 Tom Ryno

This particular section of Sunset Beach is situated in the Sunset Beach Community of 90742, which was once a part of unincorporated Orange County but has since been incorporated into Huntington Beach for over a decade now. The beach itself is a constant source of beauty, boasting pristine sand and stunning vistas of the ocean, Palos Verdes Peninsula, LA, and Long Beach Harbors, as well as the landmark buildings of Long Beach. While weekdays offer a tranquil escape, weekends can be a bit more crowded, as expected. As this is a residential beach area, it's important to be mindful of the locals' concerns. Thankfully, the community is generous enough to offer free parking along the North and South Pacific Av median, located just a block from the beach. It's worth noting that visitors are welcome to walk their dogs here, which is especially helpful for those who want to catch a glimpse of the sunset but can't bring their furry friends onto the beach. Finally, for those who need to freshen up, public restrooms can be found at the Pacific Av median, as well as at 14th and 19th Streets. All in all, this beach offers a serene and picturesque retreat for anyone seeking a bit of natural beauty and relaxation.

Lechuza Beach
8 Kieran Tarew.

This stunning beach with breathtaking views and a tranquil atmosphere, perfect for those seeking a peaceful escape. While navigating the rocky steps may prove a bit challenging, the seclusion provided is well worth the effort. It's important to note that there are no public restrooms available, but the natural beauty of the surroundings more than makes up for this minor inconvenience.

Ventura Beach
10 Liana Matthews

This beach is incredibly serene, and there's a mouth-watering taco joint located on the pier, as well as some enjoyable shops in the vicinity.

Solimar Beach
10 INFINITUMEND

The beach we stumbled upon after parking along the road past the Emma Wood sign was a sight to behold. The stunning views and breathtaking sunset left us in awe. What's more, the beach was not as crowded as other beaches we had visited before, making it a peaceful escape. We were thrilled to find out that dogs were allowed on the beach, and parking was free. However, it's essential to note that there are no restrooms available on-site. This hidden gem of a beach is a must-visit for anyone looking for a serene and picturesque escape.
