We were thrilled to have chosen this Airbnb villa for our family trip to Oahu. Our kids, aged 5 and 7, absolutely adored the lagoon pool, the beach with its protected lagoon/cove, and the koi fish. It was noticeably more peaceful compared to the neighboring Disney hotel on one side and the Marriott on the other. The place itself was stunning, with tasteful furnishings and impeccable upkeep. The beach bar drinks were fantastic, although a bit pricey. It would have been even better if they offered a wider range of food options for adults, but luckily there are plenty of dining choices available around the Beach Villas.

The Four Lagoons offer a delightful experience of swimming and unwinding on the sandy shores. The beach is open to the public, which means you can enjoy the lagoons without having to stay at the nearby resorts. However, the only drawback is parking, which can be a challenge. You may have to arrive early to secure a spot or opt for paid parking near the shops and restaurants.

This beach is truly breathtaking, offering some of the best surfing opportunities around. However, it's not just for surfers - we found it to be a great spot for swimming during our visit. Plus, the convenience of washrooms, change rooms, and showers just across the street made our experience even more enjoyable. For those seeking respite from the sun, there are some lovely shady trees located on the north end near the surfing area. And to top it all off, we were lucky enough to catch a stunning sunset during our stay.

This is a great spot to bring the kids. The beach is incredibly peaceful and there's plenty of space. There are numerous free parking spots available, and paid parking is conveniently located nearby. If you're looking to escape the hustle and bustle of Waikiki and enjoy a relaxing time with your family, this is the perfect place. Make sure to bring some food and drinks, as I didn't come across any food options since it's a resort.

White Plains Beach

Undoubtedly, the most exceptional beach on the southern side for surfing enthusiasts. The beach offers a vast expanse of sand and multiple washing stations. Moreover, there is abundant parking space and rental facilities available for visitors. However, the only drawback is that the rental services shut down early around 4:30 PM, which can be inconvenient for some. Additionally, pets are not allowed on the beach, and it would be great if there was a designated area for them. On the bright side, there is a food truck on the beach, and it is a welcome addition. Hopefully, more food trucks will come to the beach in the future.
