This beach is absolutely amazing for families and it's completely free to enter. It offers a variety of amenities such as a beach volleyball area, a playground, a sandbox, toys, trampolines, slides, and even stairs and inflatables to access the lake. One unique feature is the trampoline located right in the lake. Additionally, you can relax on the grass or under the shade of a tree. There's also a bar and terrace conveniently located nearby. If you have kids, this place is perfect for you. And don't worry about parking, there's a paid parking lot right next door where you can safely leave your car.
This Kinder Spielplatz provides a fantastic playground for children, complete with trampolines, sand pits, slides, swings, and a volleyball court. Additionally, the beautiful Achensee lake is conveniently located nearby, with a bus stop serving this area.
Why should one be charged for swimming in a lake? Every entrance to the lake's shoreline demands a fee. A lake is a natural element of the outdoors that should be accessible to all, irrespective of their financial status.
Overall, this is a lovely lake for swimming. There are water sports facilities available, and it’s a pleasant walk around the lake, taking roughly an hour and a half. The promenade is very clean and well-maintained, though there are some minor costs involved. During the summer, a small musical festival is held each week in the evening.
We stayed at a campsite for more than a week, enjoying a lovely view of the lake. Unfortunately, we had the misfortune of having a loud and rude family next to us. Their children and even their parents would walk right in front of our tent, leaving us with very little privacy. The situation worsened on Saturday when a group of young men arrived with a party tent and blaring music behind us. It's puzzling why the campsite allowed this, as I'm sure other guests must have complained about it. The women's restroom facilities were unpleasant; the toilets were closed on several occasions. Additionally, the showers were placed too low on the wall, making it difficult for taller individuals to reach their upper back without having to use one hand to hold onto the shower. Furthermore, there wasn't enough parking space available near the tent sites. The overall cleanliness of the campsite was lacking. We decided to check out early, but the reception informed us that we couldn't get a refund for the remaining days due to bad weather, even though that wasn't the actual reason for our early departure. Our stay at the campsite was simply unpleasant during our vacation.
The campsite is really lovely and offers a stunning view! They have a restaurant on site that serves simple food, but it would be nice if they had more healthy options. I wasn't a fan of the prepaid shower system where you have to pay 50 cents for 5 minutes of hot water. The machine is located outside the shower cabin, and no matter what coin you use, the display always shows 1. I'm not sure what it means. Despite that, it's a fantastic location and the ideal spot to relax and rejuvenate.
