The beach is mainly made up of rocks and has a black sand appearance. The view is stunning, with crystal clear and clean water. It's an ideal place to swim, especially after finishing the Samaria Gorge hike. There are plenty of patio lounge chairs and umbrellas nearby, as well as drink options available on the beach. Additionally, there are restaurants within walking distance of the beach.

Agia Roumeli is a stunning beach located in a small village on the island of Crete. This beach is easily accessible by taking the ferry from nearby towns like Chora Sfalion, Loutro, Sougia, and Paleochora. It's a popular destination for tourists who have hiked through the Samaria gorge, but because of this, the village and beaches can get crowded after 1pm until the last ferry departs.

Regrettably, there are no trees in the vicinity, so if you plan on spending more than two hours at the beach, it's advisable to purchase an umbrella. However, the beach is easily accessible.
