The beach got its name from the tale of pirates who robbed a merchant ship in the South China Sea and hid their spoils in a nearby cave. The view from Pirate Sandy Beach is breathtaking, showcasing Acheh Island, Pelanduk Island, and Tengah Island. The beach boasts a sloping, spacious, and clean water with soft white sandy beaches, and it is connected to Penyabong Beach. Pirate Sandy Beach is a paradise for nature lovers seeking peace, calmness, and breathtaking scenery. The rock formations and seascape are a sight to behold, making it a perfect place for sightseeing and leisure activities such as picnicking, swimming, camping, BBQ, photography, beach/sea fishing, and flying kites. This beach is tucked away in a peaceful location and boasts a delightful atmosphere. It is a great spot for a picnic or camping trip, but keep in mind that there may be wild animals around.
