If you're staying at hotels further south, you'll find that the water here is even better. Overall, it's a fantastic destination that's worth visiting.

If you enjoy taking long walks on the beach, this is the perfect spot for you as it is one of the longest beaches on the island. You'll find plenty of food vendors with affordable prices, and I personally had no issues with the food I tried. However, be aware that there are pine needles scattered around, so bringing a beach mat is a good idea. If you need shade, there are umbrellas available for rent in certain areas, and there is ample parking available. I suggest visiting during the week as it can get quite crowded on weekends when the locals tend to flock to the beach.
