The beach is a fantastic and secure destination. It offers a unique experience where you can stroll up to 500 meters into the water without worrying about being pulled under by waves. It feels like a vast, natural pool. The area also boasts of well-maintained public restrooms where you can freshen up or relieve yourself. The attendant is always welcoming and helpful, making your stay even more enjoyable.

The beach was truly stunning. Our camping experience was made even better by the soothing sound of the waves that greeted us every morning. However, we were disturbed twice by a policeman who warned us to keep our valuables safe. Unfortunately, the lack of amenities such as showers made our stay a bit challenging. We had to travel to Progreso to freshen up, but even then, we encountered some issues with the public showers. Thankfully, we found a solution by purchasing showers from vendors along the promenade for a reasonable price of 15 peso.
