We stumbled upon the most exceptional beach in the Tulum vicinity. For a mere 70 pesos, we were able to enter and enjoy the serene atmosphere. To our surprise, after walking a mere 200 meters up the beach, we found ourselves in the midst of a completely empty beach, even on a bustling weekend. The bar on the beach offered drinks at reasonable prices, with beer costing only 45 pesos. It was a breath of fresh air to discover a place in the area that wasn't solely focused on taking advantage of its visitors.

In July of 2022, we stumbled upon a hidden gem when we took a wrong turn on our way to the beach. The entrance fee was a mere 60 pesos per person, and we appreciated the thorough check for pets since they are not permitted on the premises. Although signs indicated that chairs were not allowed, we noticed many beachgoers had brought their own. The water was refreshingly clear, though we couldn't help but notice a peculiar odor in the air. Nevertheless, we were able to cope with it. Unfortunately, the sand was heavily littered with seaweed, which detracted from the overall experience.

It was a refreshing change to find a beach that was open to the public, especially with so many private ones in the area. Although there was an entrance fee of 60 pesos, we were able to rent a lounger and umbrella for a reasonable 250 pesos. Despite a moderate amount of seaweed, the water was crystal clear and surprisingly warm. My wife and I even had the pleasure of spotting rays swimming nearby. Unfortunately, our beach day was cut short by a passing typhoon, but once it had cleared, it was back to business as usual.
