The beach is decent, with some average snorkeling opportunities. However, my experience was dampened by a jellyfish sting, which made it less enjoyable. To access the beach, you must navigate through sand dunes, but driving onto the sand is prohibited to protect the turtles. The road leading to the beach is bumpy and in poor condition, so I would recommend using a 4x4 vehicle. Despite its proximity to La Paz, there are many superior beaches nearby. Ultimately, I do not believe that the 40-minute drive to this beach is worth it.

My boyfriend was only bitten a few times, but as someone who is often targeted by bugs, I would recommend bringing bug spray to keep them at bay.
