Redrock Lanta Beach

My partner and I, a couple who work remotely, spent the past year at Thai Season Villas as our home base. It's difficult to leave knowing that it will be challenging to find a more stunning place to live and work. The absence of distractions and the breathtaking views created a productive environment, as did the reliable internet connection. Power cuts were rare, and when they did occur, they were usually brief. On the rare occasions when we had a full day without power, Tom kindly informed us in advance so we could make alternative work arrangements. We particularly adored the location and living on the quieter side of Koh Lanta, where the roads are well-maintained and there are fewer tourists. Mosquitoes were also less of an issue on this side of the island, even when we slept upstairs in the open air without using a mosquito net. Additionally, it felt safer compared to the other side of the island, and to be honest, we didn't lock the door a single time during our year-long stay. The property itself is well-maintained, and Tom promptly addresses any issues that arise. He and his family are friendly and eager to assist, while also being respectful of privacy and considerate of noise. It was easy to forget that we had neighbors at all. Thai Season Villas is truly a hidden gem, and we wholeheartedly recommend it to other digital nomads, remote workers, or anyone seeking a peaceful place to live, unwind, and experience the beauty of Thailand.

The spot is absolutely stunning. Tom is amazing and extremely helpful. I thoroughly enjoyed waking up upstairs to witness the sunrise and then taking a refreshing dip in the swimming pool with my coffee. And of course, later in the day, I treated myself to a nice cold beer. It truly felt like a heavenly experience.

The owners are incredibly kind, and their children are absolutely lovely. They ensured that our needs were met throughout our stay, and the house was thoughtfully arranged. This place truly feels like a small piece of paradise.

If you're looking to escape the crowded beaches, I highly recommend staying at this stunning location on the serene eastern side of the island. The view of the sea right in front of my house is absolutely breathtaking, and I can't get enough of the incredible sunrises and beautiful gardens. The house itself is truly unique, with an open first floor that combines the bedroom and living room, and it has all the amenities you could possibly need. The small pool is a delightful spot to relax and take in the ocean views, with only the occasional glimpse of fishermen passing by. Tom and Kan are incredibly friendly and always ready to assist with anything you may require, such as renting a motorbike. If you feel like exploring the Old Village, it's just a quick 10-minute ride on your motorbike, or you can venture to the popular sandy beaches in about 25 minutes. And don't forget to try the delicious food at the nearby Panorama restaurant. Being surrounded by nothing but nature truly makes for an awe-inspiring and unforgettable experience. I feel like I'm living in paradise every single day.

The beach is situated in a serene and rural area, with a pleasant waterfront view. It is an excellent choice for a family vacation, as my children had a great time exploring the stony beaches during low tide. The sound of the waves when the tide is high is incredibly soothing. The houses provided all the necessary amenities, and our hosts made extra efforts to ensure that our stay was enjoyable. We are definitely planning to return next year and will enthusiastically recommend this location to others.
