While it's not as bad as some other places, it's still important to exercise caution and be mindful of your surroundings. Overall, this beach is a true gem and a must-visit destination for anyone looking to soak up some sun and enjoy the natural beauty of Thailand.

The beach was nothing special, just the typical clean, white sand and palm trees that you can find anywhere. The water was warm, but that's about it. It wasn't too crowded in August, but there were still a few pesky beach peddlers lurking around. They were mostly harmless, but it was annoying to constantly decline their offers. The upper part of the beach had a few beach clubs and bars, but they were nothing to write home about. The only thing that made them remotely interesting were the fire shows in the evening. The southern part of the beach was a bit more peaceful, but still within earshot of the obnoxious nightlife. Overall, my time on this beach was forgettable. I doubt I'll ever come back, but who knows, maybe I'll change my mind.

While there may be some litter or temporarily closed hotels due to Covid-19, these minor issues do not detract from the overall beauty and charm of this beach.
