Coral Bay Beach

We have been lucky enough to visit and stay at many banyan trees in the area as part of the banyan tree private collection. However, the check-in and reception we experienced at Samui were quite disappointing. Initially, we were given a partial ocean view villa because the other categories were fully booked when we made our reservation. But when we arrived, we inquired if there were any ocean view or hilltop villas available, considering our membership allows us access to a variety of villas.

The Banyan Tree resort was absolutely incredible, and their guest service was exceptional. Our villa host, Gigi, was extremely attentive and made sure all of our needs were taken care of. Getting to each villa was a thrilling experience in itself, as we rode in a golf cart along winding roads with plenty of twists and turns. The beach was wonderfully secluded, offering various activities such as snorkeling, paddleboarding, and kayaking. Additionally, there was a fantastic restaurant right on the beach that provided delicious food options. The room itself was beyond amazing, boasting a stunning ocean view and featuring an infinity pool, jacuzzi, and cozy areas with bean bags and sofas where we could enjoy breathtaking sunrises and sunsets.

The hotel is absolutely amazing, and the staff is incredibly friendly. There is a grocery store called Lotus Market and some local restaurants just a short taxi ride away. The breakfast is wonderful, with a fantastic view of the water and greenery. The rooms are fantastic and get cleaned twice a day. It's such a great experience to have a private pool. Additionally, they have a Kids club where you can drop off your kids.

I had an absolutely delightful stay here and was thrilled with the amazing view of the ocean from my room. The villa was excellent, complete with a large personal pool and jacuzzi. The breakfast buffet was one of the best I have ever experienced. The staff were incredibly friendly, including the buggy staff who were amazingly friendly as well. Abby, who assisted me on the first day, made our stay even more amazing with a lotus flower ritual that I loved. The place itself was out of this world. I highly recommend staying here and I am already looking forward to visiting again soon. All of the staff were exceptional, even after we checked out. We were hanging out by the beach and lobby and they provided us with buggy service. The staff at the beach cafe even offered us ice cream and snacks, which was an incredible service. We were truly blown away by the great hospitality.

We stayed in the ocean view pool villa, and the room was spotless. The view was absolutely breathtaking, and both the pool and balcony were impeccably maintained. The breakfast buffet was a delightful experience, and we had a fantastic time at the beach. The service at the beach and in the restaurant was exceptional. Although the location might be considered distant for those who prefer to explore the town, we chose to stay within the resort for the duration of our stay and thoroughly enjoyed every moment.
