This beach resort was quite interesting. I booked a bungalow with a unique curved roof on AirBnb, but the listing had no reviews and seemed suspicious. The owner then offered to upgrade me to a beachfront room at no extra cost, which I accepted. However, upon arrival, the quality of the room did not match the price I paid or the listing on AirBnb. We later discovered the abandoned bungalows from the original listing further up the shore.
It seems like the resort leaves these listings active on AirBnb and only upgrades guests to their other rooms that they cannot sell. The breakfast provided was minimal, the beach needed cleaning, and there were strict rules about bringing outside food or drinks. The beach bar only served beer, making it difficult for guests to enjoy other beverages.
Although the property was once beautiful, it has clearly seen better days. We decided to leave after one night and found a better resort called Siam Beach for the rest of our stay. I would recommend avoiding Ao Noi until they improve their facilities.
