Magic Sands Beach

This location truly embodies its name! Witnessing the silhouettes of turtles amidst the cresting waves was an enchanting experience! It's a destination that must be seen with one's own eyes, as no photograph can capture the sheer beauty of the translucent water, the presence of turtles, and the opportunity for snorkeling - all of which combine to create a truly magical atmosphere. This is an ideal spot for families with young children, as there are plenty of natural pools for them to frolic in. Additionally, there's a shaved ice stand conveniently located just across the street, making this destination an absolute paradise!

Let me keep it short and sweet since we're all looking for a great beach! 🤙 There's a free parking lot nearby that's hard to miss, just keep an eye on the time limits. This beach is perfect for swimming and even has some snorkeling opportunities. It's also kept clean and tidy. While it can get crowded, it's still a great spot to have some fun. Plus, if you're like my wife and don't like being alone in the water, you'll feel safer with the crowd. 😂 Unfortunately, there are no rinse stations available, but that's not a deal-breaker.

This quaint beach is bursting with charm, lively individuals, and breathtaking vistas. The rocky terrain provides an opportunity to spot small sea creatures, adding to the allure of the locale. Although the waves can be forceful, particularly during low tide, it is an invigorating experience to navigate the current. In my opinion, this spot is ideal for witnessing stunning sunsets, surpassing even the Pier in town. I am certain that I will return to this delightful spot in the future.

Arriving at the beach around 7 in the morning, I found a moderate crowd already present. Despite its popularity among tourists and being featured on various travel sites, it is still possible to enjoy a few moments of solitude by arriving early. The evening sunset is a sight to behold and not to be missed. For those interested in volleyball, bring your own ball and take advantage of the net set up for your enjoyment. The beach is perfect for families with children who want to boogie-board or simply relax. I highly recommend this spot for anyone looking for a peaceful and enjoyable beach experience. It's worth noting that this beach is not particularly large, comparable in size to the Green Sands Beach at South Point.

This beach is truly remarkable when the sand is in its place, but it can be perilous when the sand is out, as it is presently. The water and shore are filled with jagged rocks that pose a serious threat to those who are not quick enough to enter or exit. However, there are lifeguards on duty from 9:30 am to 5 pm every day to ensure everyone's safety. In addition, public washrooms and an outdoor shower are available for convenience. This beach is an ideal spot for catching a glimpse of the stunning sunset.
