Latest reviews on Chon Buri Province's beaches

Ban Amphur Beach
8 Niva Rixa

This location is truly stunning. There are fantastic seafood eateries to indulge in and a playground for kids to enjoy. In addition, there are a few floating docks, one of which appears to be an emergency landing pad. It's a fantastic spot to watch the sunset while enjoying a delicious dinner and drinks. Unfortunately, the rock pier and beaches have been inundated with litter that has washed up in the water and along the shoreline. This issue is even more apparent during low tide. It's crucial that we maintain the cleanliness of our beaches and waters.

Tawanron Beach
10 Niva Iava

There aren't too many people around, the sand is a lovely shade of white, the water is crystal clear, and the views are stunning. It's a great spot to take the kids and let them run wild.

North Pattaya Beach
8 Mrs. Wren

This beach offers a pleasant atmosphere and provides opportunities for water activities such as biking and speed boating. Alternatively, one can simply unwind and enjoy the surroundings. If you happen to be in the area during the evening, there's a chance you might be treated to a beautiful sunset.

Casa Luna Beach

The price could have included more. The family room was satisfactory, with a good-sized bed, although the single bed wasn't very comfortable. There were ongoing issues with the water, as the flow was not good. Unfortunately, the beach did not meet expectations. However, I did thoroughly enjoy the restaurant and pool.

Writing reviews isn't something I usually do, especially negative ones. However, my recent short stay left me unimpressed and compelled me to share my mixed experiences, focusing on three aspects: location, room, and service. The hotel's location is commendable. Situated just outside Pattaya, it's easily accessible by car from Bangkok, avoiding much of the city traffic. It boasts a beautiful and quiet beachfront, offering great privacy in the villas. To fully appreciate the stunning sunset view, staying in one of the beach view villas is a must. My wife and I initially booked a duplex villa directly with the hotel for about 500-600 USD per night on short notice. The room was in good condition, but with limited views. The three-level layout without railings was not child-friendly, which we overlooked while booking. When we requested a single-floor room, the only option was to upgrade to a two-bedroom villa for an additional 600 USD per night. The room was well-maintained, but for its price point, it lacked thoughtful features like USB sockets next to the bed, which I found surprising for a recently opened establishment. The staff generally demonstrated attentiveness and a service-oriented attitude, which is expected in top-rated Thai hotels. We received a personal caterer upon upgrading to the two-bedroom villa, who was helpful and attentive. However, several service lapses marred our experience. The housekeeping team delivered an unclean baby bathtub, the turn-down service was perfunctory, in-room dining lacked proper setup and cleanup, and the staff's response when asked about clearing the table was somewhat lazy and unprofessional for a 5-star establishment. Finally, the hotel restaurant could benefit from improvement. The offerings were basic, which doesn't align with the hotel's pricing. This is a minor yet valid critique considering the hotel's cost.
