Latest reviews on Vietnam's beaches

Thuan An Beach
8 Lila Evans

Thuan An beach can be found in Thuan An town, Phu Vang district, Thua Thien Hue province, approximately 15km away from the center of Hue city. It's situated at the spot where the Perfume River meets the Tam Giang lagoon and flows into the East Sea, resulting in a stunning combination of the river's gentle hues and the vastness of the sea. The beach spans 12km and is divided into 3 sections: 1st beach, 2nd beach, and Phu Thuan beach. Although it's not as bustling as some other beaches, Thuan An beach is a great option for visitors who prefer a tranquil and serene environment. Aside from swimming, many tourists opt to camp here, watch the sunrise over the sea, and appreciate the untamed and peaceful beauty of the area.

Long Hai Beach
10 Nguyen Thuat

The villa is situated near attractions and charming restaurants, offering rooms with authentic sea views. The owner is delightful. If you get the opportunity, you'll want to visit and experience it multiple times.

Phu Hai Beach
8 Anh Em

The room is clean and new. I stayed in an oceanfront unit. The reduced breakfast buffet during the off-peak season is decent. The cook is very good, and the food tastes great. However, I wish the hotel wouldn't burn leaves on the beach near the guests. Garden workers should also refrain from smoking when guests are around. All the restaurant service workers are nice and polite. One of them initially did not respect us as Vietnamese guests when we showed up for the 3 pm tea party reception, but he quickly changed his attitude after realizing his mistake. Most rooms at Phu Hai are smoking rooms. It is a very beautiful and quiet resort in November and December, and definitely one of the few places to stay in Mui Ne. However, the resort's WiFi is unreachable in the oceanfront rooms and unreliable.

Park Hyatt Phu Quoc
10 Linh Tran

This beach is one of the most luxurious projects in Vietnam and it is incredibly beautiful. I am really excited to visit it.

Lighthouse Beach
6 Liam Tan

The beach offers clear blue skies, a sparkling emerald sea, and white sandy beaches. It is a place of unparalleled beauty where you can enjoy affordable seafood and service fees. However, the rising issue lies in the attitudes of both locals and tourists towards nature conservation. It is quite bothersome to witness cans, bottles, plastic items, and various other debris floating in the pristine ocean waters.

Front Beach
10 Rowe Paul

Front Beach is one of my favorite spots on Vung Tau Island. The French once gave this charming little beach a more romantic name, Coconut Bay. Early mornings here are truly special. Bring your camera along. You'll witness small fishing boats returning from their night at sea, with families and wives helping to load the night's catch onto motorcycles, ready to rush them to the morning fish markets. Capture plenty of photos, but be sure not to get in the way. Evenings on the beach are more laid-back, and Front Beach transforms into a quintessential tropical paradise. Fishermen slowly prepare for another night out at sea. After the sun sets and most people have left, you might be fortunate enough to see an owl couple hunting along the waterline.
