This beach was incredible! The water was crystal clear and there were fewer people than expected. It's one of the best beaches on Phu Quoc Island, even though it's a bit of a trek from downtown, about 20km away. You'll need a car or motorcycle to get there. Watching the sun rise from this beach would be a sight to behold. On the far side of the beach, there's a restaurant with very reasonable prices compared to the other eateries in the area. The food was great, in my opinion.

4 Frustrating

The beach is stunning, with its white sand, but the only area that is kept clean is the area around the cafe and hotel. If you venture further, you'll find a lot of rubbish, which is quite disheartening. It appears that no one is taking responsibility for cleaning the beach or showing any concern.

This beach is a sight to behold, stretching out for about 5 kilometers. The water and sand are pristine, and there are plenty of restaurants nearby serving up seafood and Vietnamese dishes. If you venture further inland, you'll find a fantastic pasta joint that serves the best pasta I've ever had.

This beach is stunning, with its white sand and crystal-clear, warm sea. There are plenty of palm trees providing shade, and a few restaurants and hotels right on the seafront. These establishments are quite pricey, but I wasn't staying at the hotel and was still allowed to use the sun beds for free. It may be that you have to pay for them when the beach is busy, or only if you're a hotel guest. The sea is gorgeous and inviting, and the shore is shallow for a long way out. The hotel offers water sports, but only to its guests. I didn't see anyone else offering any kind of water sports. Parking is free behind the restaurants. This beach is definitely worth a visit.

We had a great time at the beach, which wasn't too crowded when we visited. Other reviews have mentioned that it's now all private, but we took a taxi and were dropped off at the main resort, and we were able to access the beach without any issues. I'm sure it will become more crowded once construction is completed and more people start traveling again post-pandemic.
