4 Frustrating

Dillon Road curves to the left and descends towards the water. It's possible to drive almost right up to the water. There used to be a narrow strip of land between the eroding bluffs and the lake. In 2020, that strip is gone except for a few small areas further along. Even when calm, water is right against the eroding bluffs. Many trees have fallen over from erosion., making walking along the shore more difficult. Water is now even more cloudy. Because of the cloudy water and almost no actual beach, I am only giving 2 stars. However I like the place. It's nice to stop for a bit, look around and maybe take a swim. But if you want to spend more time at a beach, go elsewhere, maybe Erieau. When there are big waves the water will be very muddy and uninviting, but you may get to see spectacular splashes as waves hit the breakwall.

I enjoyed myself there more than my dogs did lol. I just wanted a fun day trip with my pups somewhere they've never been before the BEACH! I had never been to this location but my friend knew of it. It was nice and enjoyable!
