view the best beach places
Having frequented this beach for over 50 years, I might be a bit biased, but I must say it is a wonderful, charming spot that never gets too crowded. I really appreciate the ongoing improvements and developments at the beach park.
This place is really nice with amazing views and a fascinating history connected to the indigenous people of the region. The combination of shale and kettle rocks is quite intriguing to observe. It's definitely worth a visit to capture a few pictures, but it's important to be cautious and discourage children from running around and breaking shale, as it is not well-received.
Truly lovely and serene location.....excellent rainbow/steelhead and salmon fishing in the river or lakeshore....beautiful sunsets
Remote, peaceful, yet petite. The ocean and shore remained fairly pristine even following a recent shower on July 22nd.
Today, the beach town was lovely with charming shops, soft sand, and clear water. Despite the overcast weather and mid-70s temperature, the water was surprisingly warm enough for swimming and sunbathing.
We had a nice beach experience when we went on Sunday evening. There were a lot of people, making it quite crowded, and the parking area was also quite small. However, the water quality was not good, as it was cloudy and smelly due to the windy and rainy season. Unfortunately, we did not have a good time there. Despite all that, the overall experience was okay.
