This beach is truly magnificent. It is the perfect spot to take a dip in the sea while enjoying the breathtaking sunset. However, the presence of nearby cafes poses a problem as they restrict access to the beach unless you are a paying customer. This is quite discourteous. Additionally, parking your vehicle is a bit of a hassle as you have to park it on the adjacent road and walk across to the beach.

This Sri Lankan beach is truly a sight to behold - it's not only stunningly beautiful, but also one of the safest beaches around. The waves are expertly blocked by a massive natural cliff, creating a tranquil and serene atmosphere that feels like you're swimming in a natural pool. As if that weren't enough, you'll also have the opportunity to swim alongside turtles, so be sure to bring your goggles. And when the day draws to a close, you can witness one of the most breathtaking sunsets you'll ever see. So why wait? Come and experience all the wonders this beach has to offer.

The beach is pleasant and offers the opportunity to observe turtles during the day. It's also a popular spot for Instagram, although the famous coconut tree above the rock is no longer there. The sunsets are still beautiful and the water is easy to swim in thanks to the reef. Unfortunately, there is a problem with sewage. I have noticed that dirty and smelly water is often released into the ocean directly from the beach, which can make guests uncomfortable. It would be great if the hotel and restaurant owners could address this issue.

Discover the ultimate turtle haven at this beach where you can feed them with fresh seaweed! You can easily reach this paradise via the numerous beach resorts lining the coast. Although the shore may not be extensive, you can still enjoy the stunning views by lounging at the beachside restaurants or perching on the wall.

If you're planning a beach trip down south near Galle, consider visiting this stunning spot for a refreshing sea bath. The beach is protected by a natural cliff, providing a sense of privacy and seclusion. The scenery is truly breathtaking, with picturesque views that are sure to leave you in awe. While you're here, keep an eye out for the large tortoises that are commonly spotted in the area. They're harmless, but still a fascinating sight to see. For a better view of the surroundings, climb up the nearby rock and take in the stunning scenery. However, be cautious on rough sea days as the sea can be dangerous during those times. All in all, this beach is a must-visit for anyone looking to experience the beauty of nature.
