Nagahawatta Beach

We visited the Angel Beach Club for a day trip with our young children (ages 7 and 5) and their grandparents. We enjoyed using the pool and having lunch. The experience was delightful, thanks to the extremely friendly staff, the laid-back atmosphere, and the delicious food and drinks. We were even impressed by their prompt response when we realized we had left something behind. When we contacted them a few days later, the person on the phone/WhatsApp immediately searched for the item, found it, sent us a picture, and set it aside for us. The service was truly professional in every aspect, and we highly recommend it.

This beach is an excellent spot to relax and unwind. The atmosphere is absolutely stunning, making it the top destination to visit in Unawatuna. The vibes are cool and the music is great. The staff is incredibly friendly and the service is top-notch. Whether you visit during the day or at night, there are plenty of photo spots to capture the beauty. And let's not forget about the delicious pizza here, it's a personal favorite of mine. 🍕🫶🏻🌊

My wife and I visited the beach on a weekday, which was nice because it was less crowded. The staff welcomed us warmly and we immediately fell in love with the place. The beach near the hotel is lovely, peaceful, and beautiful. The staff were very helpful and friendly, and we really enjoyed the food. The quality and quantity of the food were both great, and the drinks were outstanding as well. We wanted to stay longer, but they were fully booked the next day. We will definitely visit again soon. I highly recommend it.

We spent an entire day at the beach and pool, and it was absolutely wonderful! The club was fantastic, with comfortable sun beds, great service, and delicious food and drinks. It was a perfect day, and we wish we could have gone back for a second visit. We highly recommend it!

My experience at Angel Beach was a bit of a mixed bag. On the positive side, the restaurant service was excellent, and the pool and beach were lovely as described. The included breakfast was tasty, and the location about 7 km from the gala was a bonus. However, the loud evening party could be a problem for those looking for peace and quiet, especially on weekends. Some of the rooms had issues like noise in rooms 3 and 4 and a lack of amenities like a coffee maker and bottled water. Despite efforts by the hotel staff to improve the situation, some of the rooms did not meet the advertised standards. However, deluxe room number 9 was very pleasant, although it lacked direct access to the outside world. Overall, while the hotel has a lot to offer, there are some issues that need to be addressed, especially in terms of room quality and evening noise control. During my stay, I encountered some unexpected guests - cockroaches. I'm not sure if this is standard, but it's worth knowing about before arrival.
