This Costa Rican beach retreat is truly enchanting. From the moment we booked, Jenny provided us with helpful information about transportation and the local area. The photos of the home do not do it justice - it is truly magnificent. Our family stayed for a week in February 2020 and enjoyed every moment. The home was well-maintained and beautifully decorated, and the cleaning staff was exceptional and friendly. While we encountered some ants, this is to be expected in the jungle. Lars and his team were quick to respond and take care of the situation, and it did not detract from our incredible experience. The pool was fantastic and the house setup was perfect for our family. We loved the BBQ Rancho area and fire pit, and the entire community was lovely. The on-site restaurant, Aroma del Mar, was stunning and the food was delicious. We especially enjoyed the picadillo de papaya, which was the best meal we have ever had. The chef was amazing and the

In February 2017, my spouse and I spent ten days at this beachside resort, and it was an absolute delight. We were fortunate enough to have a villa for two couples in the complex, and the view of the Gulf Of Nicoya was breathtaking. The accommodations were top-notch, and the hosts were incredibly welcoming. On-site, there is a restaurant and grocery store, and you can hire a local cook to prepare meals for you in your villa. The scenery is stunning, and the location is incredibly peaceful. I could have spent hours lounging in the infinity pool, taking in the gorgeous view.

What an incredible destination! My stay in February of 2019 for 9 days was nothing short of amazing. The restaurant, the condos, and the staff were all exceptional. Although the roads may not be the best, they are easy to navigate once you become accustomed to them. The abundance of wildlife was a true highlight, as we had a family of monkeys living right beside us - an unforgettable experience. The food at Aroma Del Mar was simply divine, and the staff were a pleasure to interact with. I already miss the delicious breakfasts! Don't forget to attend pizza night - it's an absolute must! Lastly, for those seeking waves, Playa Coyote is the place to go. It's a short drive away, but the beach is absolutely breathtaking.

Our stay at Villa 8 in Roma Del Mar was far from enjoyable. The house may have been beautiful, but the location was incredibly remote and required a 4 wheel drive just to access it. We were stranded in the middle of nowhere with no access to any activities or attractions. While Natalia and Caroline were helpful with our accommodations, the lack of things to do made our stay unbearable. The only highlight was the restaurant where Mike and his staff made great pizza, but even their friendliness couldn't make up for the lack of options. To make matters worse, we lost a piece of luggage on our last day and Lars was the only one who could help us. While he did go above and beyond to meet us in town and retrieve our luggage, it was too little too late. The only communication we had during our stay was through WhatsApp, which was hardly a consolation. We were stuck in a beautiful house with nothing to do but stare at the amazing view.

Oh, the joys of staying at the beach during the rainy season! We had the pleasure of experiencing this in May and let me tell you, it was quite the adventure. Falling asleep to the sound of raindrops and waking up to a serene sunrise was a real treat. Getting to the beach can be quite the challenge, but fear not, with a trusty 4x4 and a reasonable driver, you'll make it there in one piece. Our accommodation boasted a stunning pool in the backyard with an awe-inspiring view of the horizon. We spent most of our time frolicking in the pool and indulging in a few Netflix binges here and there. Ah, the simple life!
