I was surprised to find out that the beach requires a fee of 20kn per person for entry, as I had believed that all beaches in Croatia were public.

This beach is truly exceptional, deserving of a five-star rating. What's more, there's no charge to bring your own gear, and a convenient beach bar ensures refreshments are always close at hand. If you're in need of some shade, take advantage of the trees that line the beach. The sand in the water is delightfully fine, and the shallowness makes it easy to wade in. Even the small rocks on the beach are unobtrusive and won't cause discomfort as you walk. I highly recommend this beach to anyone looking for a fantastic day out.

If you're seeking a beach that is ideal for families with young children, look no further than the Rovinj area. For a modest fee of 20kn, you can enter the beach via the nearby campground and take advantage of all the amenities. The beach is spacious and boasts tranquil waters, as well as a fantastic aqua park with numerous swimming pools.

In Rovinj, the concept of a sandy beach seems to have evolved over the years, unlike the ones I've experienced in Greece. Instead of sand, the beach is covered in pebbles, and not the small ones either. It's advisable to wear water boots to avoid injuring your feet on the rough and sharp rocks that litter the seabed and shore. Additionally, the water is murky, making it impossible to see the rocks. Despite this, the campsite is well-kept and offers a range of activities for children, including a clean pool.
