Having read the rave reviews about this beach, we were intrigued and decided to venture there ourselves. Thankfully, locating it was a breeze and we were able to navigate the two-way off-road (gravel) road with ease, taking in the sights of the bustling Cisterna Beach en route. However, we soon discovered that the real gem was further down the road at Coala Beach, where we encountered a rocky patch that prompted us to park our car and walk the rest of the way. The short hike through the woods was an adventure in itself, and the stunning view that greeted us at the end was nothing short of breathtaking.
The gravel road and the subsequent walk definitely added to the overall thrill of the experience, and we felt a sense of euphoria upon finally arriving at the beach. While the beach was pleasant, we would recommend bringing your own seating if you want to be truly comfortable. Snorkeling was a fun activity, but we've seen more fish in other locations, such as Red Island. Overall, the pictures of this beach do not do it justice, and we would definitely recommend making the journey to Coala Beach for a memorable day out.
