Located approximately 20 kilometers from Opatija, the beach we visited was known as Sv. Ivan. Though we opted for a taxi ride to get there, we were able to negotiate a round trip with the same driver, which helped to lower the cost. Despite the crowds, this beach is a great choice for families with children who are looking to enjoy a day of fun in the sun. In addition to the beach itself, there are plenty of souvenir shops, excellent restaurants, and a market where you can purchase refreshments and snacks. All things considered, we had an enjoyable day at this beach.

The beach is a beautiful location, with an abundance of natural light that lasts until late in the afternoon. However, it is a popular spot for families with children of all ages, so it can be quite lively and crowded. If you are seeking a peaceful and serene environment, this may not be the ideal location for you. Nonetheless, if you enjoy the energy and excitement of a bustling beach, this is the place to be.

The pebble beach is a well-known destination, attracting a significant number of visitors. Although it can get a bit crowded, there are plenty of options for beachgoers to enjoy. Unfortunately, there are limited natural shadow areas available, but beach umbrellas can be purchased to provide some relief from the sun. Unlike other beaches, there are numerous brick-and-mortar bars and restaurants available, providing visitors with a variety of dining options. Additionally, private parking is available for a fee of 70 kn per day, located conveniently close to the beach. For those in need of supplies, a Konzum grocery shop is also available on-site.
