Ah, the beach. A place where sand and sun meet in a beautiful embrace. And if you're lucky enough to visit in September, you'll find yourself basking in the glory of a crowd-free paradise. It's like having your own private slice of heaven, with no need to fight for a spot in the sand or dodge frisbees thrown by over-enthusiastic beach-goers. Just you, the waves, and the soothing sound of the ocean. It's the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. So, grab your sunscreen and head on down to this beautiful beach. You won't regret it.

2 Very poor

This isn't your typical oceanfront beach; it's a lagoon beach. Unfortunately, it doesn't quite measure up to the other breathtaking Croatian beaches. The sand is muddy and the seabed is sandy, and it's quite crowded. There's not much to explore here, no fish, no rocks, nothing at all. It might be a decent option for children who aren't yet comfortable swimming, but otherwise, it's not worth the visit.

Although lacking in amenities like shower baths and restaurants, this beach offers a unique experience with its vast expanse of shallow waters and abundance of little sea shells. While there may not be any shaded areas to escape the sun's rays, children are sure to enjoy exploring the beach and collecting shells. Overall, this beach is a great option for those looking for a natural and unspoiled beach experience. Update 2022: It's worth noting that the east part of the beach now has a convenient caffe bar and shower for visitors to enjoy.

8 Very good

The beach is quite rugged and vast with shallow waters, and there's only one beach bar that may not be suitable for those seeking convenience. However, when it comes time to rinse off the therapeutic mud, the only option is a 30-second solar-powered shower for a fee of 2HRK (about €0.40). As a Croatian, I feel ashamed and angry about this. On the other hand, across the street, there was a goat and a German man running away from it. The expensive shower might be justified from a market perspective. By the way, Krk is teeming with tourists, but places like Baska and Cizici are less crowded. We had a great time there, though. :)

The beach offers a warm and shallow sea that extends for hundreds of meters, making it an ideal spot for families with young children. The area is not crowded, providing a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. Additionally, there is a nearby healing mud beach and ample parking available, with even enough space to pitch a tent.
