I stayed at the hotel from January 3rd to January 6th and I must say, the staff was absolutely amazing. They always had a big smile on their faces, which made my experience even better. The beach was truly wonderful and it left me in awe. The main highlight for me was the beautiful pier. The rooms were consistently clean and there was a small touch that made my vacation memorable every single day. I can't wait to see you all again soon, my friends!

I recently returned from a one-week vacation with my daughter and friends, and I must say that the general manager, Carlos, was truly outstanding. He made it a point to ask us every day how everything was going. The food at the resort was fantastic, and our entire group commented daily on how delicious it was. There was a wide variety of options, and the food was always served hot. The staff members were incredibly kind and accommodating. The beach at this resort is undeniably one of the most breathtaking beaches you will ever see and swim in. Honestly, it is a resort that I would definitely choose to visit again in the future. I want to give a special shout out to Yasnery, who always had a smile on her face and was incredibly kind. Thank you to everyone for making our vacation so enjoyable!

The beach was absolutely stunning, but unfortunately, everything else fell short. The buffet was extremely disappointing, even by Cuban standards - the smell in the buffet room was unbearable and everything felt sticky. There was no variety in the food from day to day. Although the hotel rooms were spacious, they were in desperate need of refurbishment and a thorough cleaning. The pool bar was rarely staffed, and only if they happened to notice you waiting would someone come to take your order. Maybe it's just me getting older, but the loud 90s dance music at the pool didn't enhance my enjoyment at all. In fact, I noticed other guests audibly sighing when it started playing in the afternoon. Overall, I would consider returning to the area because of the beautiful beach, but I definitely won't be coming back to this resort.

The beach was absolutely incredible and must be witnessed firsthand. The locals were incredibly kind and welcoming. The cuisine was always fresh, of high quality, and diverse. The resort grounds were impeccably maintained, and the staff went above and beyond to ensure our satisfaction. The new manager, Carlos, genuinely cared about each and every guest. The pool, entertainment, and activities were fantastic, and our boys especially adored the kids club, where they formed a special bond with Sally, who oversees the children. We send our warm regards to the Melia family and can't wait to return in the near future.

My husband and I recently had an incredible week at Melia Cayo Guillermo. We have been traveling to Cuba for more than 20 years, and the beach at this resort was absolutely outstanding. You can even go snorkeling off their beautiful walkway over the water, or if you prefer, you can go fishing! The cleanliness of the hotel is truly impressive. From the rooms to the grounds, public areas, and restaurants, everything was spotless. I couldn't find any faults. There was always someone cleaning, painting, and washing floors, which is a very important aspect of any resort. The buffet always had something to eat, and I want to give a special thanks to Edel for all his hard work. However, the restaurants were fantastic! Every meal we had was delicious, and the staff was extremely friendly. I especially enjoyed the white wine. The entertainment staff also did an outstanding job. Carlos, the General Manager, was always visible from early morning to evenings, ensuring that the customers were well taken care of and enjoying their stay. He is an incredibly valuable asset to this resort, and Melia is fortunate to have employees like Carlos on their staff. I wish everyone was as conscientious as he is, even here at home! I want to express my gratitude to everyone at Melia Cayo Guillermo for making our vacation an amazing one. We will definitely be returning.
