I had to really push to get onto this beach as it's now privately owned by the Caliente Caribe hotel complex, which has been closed for over 8 years and is up for sale due to legal issues. The entrance is heavily guarded and there's an administrator on site to ensure the abandoned hotel remains secure. However, it's worth noting that this beach is one of the few in the Dominican Republic that allows nudism. The sand is a beautiful light yellow, the water is turquoise blue and the view is breathtaking. It's a bit on the small side, but when the hotel was operational, it was apparently a dream. Getting in was almost like begging, but I managed to make it happen.
