This place is absolutely amazing! You can reach it by hiking through the surrounding woods and enjoying the fruits and vegetation along the way. Another option is to take a boat from playa Moron, which will get you there in less than 20 minutes. Once you arrive, spend a few hours here indulging in activities like swimming, snorkeling, hiking, and observing cows wandering around. Don't forget to try some delicious fresh coconut water. Additionally, camping out here is also an option. I haven't had the chance to camp out yet, but I will update this review once I do. Trust me, it's truly a beautiful experience. Unlike many other beaches, the water underneath has a cool current while the surface water remains warm. According to locals, this is because fresh water from the nearby mountains flows into the beach. The water is incredibly clear and refreshing. Make sure to explore the entire length of the beach by walking and swimming, as some areas are better than others.

I absolutely adored this beach. It's like a tropical paradise. To reach here, we boarded a boat from Playa El Valle. The only downside is that you have to wait for the boat operator to decide when to depart, which sometimes takes around an hour or so.

I decided to embark on a hike from playa la Cana to playa Ermitaño. To begin this adventure, it is necessary to rent a scooter in order to reach the starting point. This alone adds an exciting element to the journey. Once you arrive, you can conveniently park your bike at the beach. The hike commences with a clearly marked path, although it gradually becomes less distinct. However, it remains visible enough that you won't lose your way. The hike itself is a breathtaking 30-minute trek through dense jungle, so be sure to use mosquito spray. It is truly a remarkable experience, particularly for avid hikers who appreciate magnificent destinations. Personally, I thoroughly enjoyed it and had the entire trail and beach to myself. Moreover, from this beach, you have the option to continue hiking to the adjacent beach, which is even more splendid albeit smaller in size.

The beach is small but pleasant, and if you visit at the right time, you can enjoy a peaceful solitude.
