We took a taxi to this beach ($60 for a tour that included La Galapaguera, El Junco and Puerto Chino). Unfortunately, the weather wasn't ideal as it was raining (and cold) at the end of June, but the view was stunning.

The water here is breathtaking with its contrast of black rocks, and you can climb up for a great view. There are even some sea lions! Swimming seemed a bit rough.

This beach is quite secluded and the sand is unlike that of the beaches in town. You can arrange a $60 round-trip tour with your cab driver, which will include stops at Junco Lake and the Giant Tortoise Sanctuary. The cab driver will wait for you while you enjoy the beach for up to two hours.
Be sure to bring bug spray, as there are green flies that are quite aggressive and will bite you when you come out of the water. They are drawn to the salt deposits on your body from the ocean and can be quite bothersome.

This beach is quite secluded, and you can even spot blue-footed boobys perched atop the hill. Seals and lizards are abundant, making it a great spot to visit.
