Dogs are welcome at this beach and there is a shaded car park with one chemical toilet available. The beach is unsupervised, but there are several hiking trails in the nearby woods along the sea. During low tide, there are many rocks, but the beach itself has nice fine sand. It is possible to reach the port of Jard s/Mer from the beaches, except for the last beach, which is prohibited for dogs. However, it is not recommended to do so during high tide.

The beach is lovely and there are plenty of shaded areas with picnic tables. The forest walks are also a great option and fishing on foot is available.

This is an excellent spot for those who enjoy serene environments. I arrived with my motorhome and discovered that parking facing the ocean or beneath the trees along Ragounites Road was an option. While fishing opportunities were limited, there were plenty of lovely strolls to be had along the seaside or through the forest. Jard sur Mer is a delightful town.
