The road leading to the beach is winding and at times quite narrow. Visitors have the option to park on the roadside or in the free parking areas located at the textile end of the bay. The sand is rough and there are garbage bins and showers available at regular intervals. The nudist area with blue, semi-transparent umbrellas can be reached with just a short walk towards the western end of the beach. Some visitors have even covered their umbrellas to protect themselves from the intense UV rays. Ashtrays are also available on many of the umbrellas and are regularly emptied. During this season, a single deckchair with an umbrella costs four euros and can be picked up at the court. Some of the screens have a faded QR code, but they don't seem to work properly. Alternatively, guests can order directly from the cashier who will deliver the drinks by hand, rather than in a cooler. Unfortunately, this means that the drinks are not as cold as they could be due to the heat of the Cretan sun. With better organization, this beach could generate more revenue. Overall, this is a beautiful beach that is well-equipped with optimized service logistics. The ambience is top-notch, while the service and fun factor could use some improvement. All in all, it's definitely worth revisiting.
