The stunning beach is conveniently located within walking distance from Sfakia Port. Simply follow the signs for Vrissi Beach after passing by the charming restaurants. The beach offers comfortable beach chairs complete with umbrellas for a perfect day in the sun. A parking lot is available for easy access to the beach through a secure gate. Additionally, a side entrance leads you to the stairs for a quick and easy way to reach the sandy shore.

The locals in Crete seem to be trying to offset the increasing expenses by charging exorbitant fees for parasol rentals. As a frequent visitor to Crete, I have been to Vrissi Beach many times and was disappointed to pay a whopping €12 for a parasol. Despite the high price, Vrissi Beach remains my top choice for a day by the sea.

This charming and intimate beach is a true gem. The lack of crowds makes for a peaceful and relaxing experience. While there is a small fee for chairs and an umbrella, it is well worth it for the comfort and convenience they provide. The woman who manages the beach is delightful and always happy to assist visitors with payments. Overall, this beach is a delightful escape from the hustle and bustle of larger tourist destinations.
