One of the best beaches in Hong Kong. It's less crowded than the others, and far removed from the hustle and bustle of the city. If you're planning to camp here, make sure to bring your own food and water. It's also a great spot for surfing!

The beach boasts stunning stretches of sand, with a breathtaking view of Sharp Peak. It's a tranquil and secluded spot.

After trekking Sharp Peak, I stumbled upon this beach. It was pristine and tranquil, perfect for relaxation. There were no shops nearby, which meant fewer people. The waves were quite strong, but it was still enjoyable to frolic in them.

I have visited numerous beaches across Hong Kong Island, New Territory, Lantau Island, and Lama Island, but my two favorites are Tai Wan and Long Ke. Tai Wan is more accessible than Long Ke, as it requires a shorter hike. The sand is soft and powdery, and there are no rocks on the seabed. The water is crystal clear and there were fewer than 10 people when we visited, making it the cleanest beach I've seen in Hong Kong. The downside is that there is no lifeguard or public facilities, and no trees nearby. The journey to the beach takes around an hour and a half.

This beach is a hidden gem! It's a long stretch of soft sand, perfect for surfing and sunbathing. It can get a bit crowded on the weekends, but since it's only accessible by hiking or boat, it's never too busy. There are no amenities here, but you can find food and drinks at the nearby Ham Tin beach, just a short walk away.
