A charming spot to acquire the art of kayaking, a petite lagoon with shallow waters. One can leisurely pass a couple of hours here. The sole drawback is the arduous descent of 200 steep steps to reach the beach, coupled with a rugged stretch of terrain that necessitates a sturdy 4 x 4 vehicle.

Upender, a friendly and accommodating individual, offers kayaking boats for both solo and tandem kayaking excursions. The prices are reasonable, with the single kayak option costing 150 and the double kayak option costing 300 for a 30-minute rental. Overall, kayaking with Upender is a delightful experience that is not to be missed.

The South Goa beach that lies concealed is a true gem, with a breathtaking vista of the Arabian Sea from the rocky outcrop below. However, the road leading to this paradise is not well-maintained, so it's best to park your car a kilometer away and ride a two-wheeler the rest of the way. To reach the beach, you must descend a flight of stairs. The waves here are powerful and not ideal for swimming, but kayaking is available in the nearby backwaters.

The beach at Cola is nothing to write home about. The atmosphere is just okay, nothing amazing. It's a minuscule stretch of sand, and the fact that you can drive right up to it doesn't help its case. The restaurants are decent, but the prices are outrageous. And sure, you can go kayaking, but it's hardly worth the cost - ₹200 for a double and ₹150 for a single. It's not the worst place to spend a day, but it's definitely not worth going out of your way for.
