Lovely beach, but I visited around noon and didn't see any tourists. There are pay-and-park parking facilities available.

This is one of the better beaches near Cherthala town. It's relatively easy to get to since the traffic on this route isn't too heavy. The only drawback is having to cross a Railway Level Crossing Gate, which, if you're unlucky, could cause you to miss the sunset. I visited on December 31, 2023, for the sunset and was fortunate that the gate was open, allowing me to arrive before the sun went down.

The climate and ambiance are very pleasant in the morning and evening. The sunset is stunning and breathtaking. Overall, it was a good experience spending time with family and friends.
