Beautiful place for those love serene vibes,but actually we went at noon,at that time there is only few people due to the hot weather,most of people were relaxing in the tree shadows which is near the back waters (which is really amazing) While reviewing this I happened to know that the best time to visit here is after 3pm (it makes sense),and some them calling it as “couples beach” 🤣instead of Kapil beach (yup most of them were college students 😂)and take water with if you are planning to go at noon like us

Really calm and peaceful during the day. Plenty of shade among the trees and plenty of clean sand to relax or sunbathe. The sea is shallow and not as wild as varkala. On the map it looks like you can't cross the river to the sandy area but it was totally accessible in April. There are also a few carts selling drinks and ice cream.

Such a wonderful place. You can find both the backwater and sea in the same place. Don't forget to take some extra clothing. You ll want to take a dip at the backwaters.

Really great beach. It feels like the warmth of the sea meets with the serenity of the lake. Great place to hang out with friends and family. The sea itself is not that dangerous you can walk some distance into the sea. Still be cautious.
