Avoid swimming in this area as the powerful waves can easily drag you in. However, it is enjoyable to simply observe their strength and feel a little damp (exercise caution, especially with kids). It would be beneficial to have additional trash receptacles and more shelters/parasols to shield guests from the sun. Therefore, I am awarding it 4 stars.

Lovely shoreline with crisp breeze, the beach can be a bit risky at night and during religious celebrations. The beach has a fascinating past where the sea was once so turbulent that fishermen couldn't make it back safely. However, a special prayer at St. Antony's Church resulted in a divine blessing that allowed the fishermen to return to shore.

Top destination to explore, renowned for St. Antony's cathedral. Be sure to admire a mural depicting the church's rich history on the interior walls. Additionally, there is a historic well adjacent to the cathedral, offering fresh water despite its proximity to the sea just 200 meters away.

Excellent spacious and secure destination for weekend family fun. The renowned St. Antony's church is a favorite among Christian visitors, hosting deep prayer sessions and masses every Tuesday where many miracles are reported. The church is considered a place of blessings for those who visit. Rather than opting for other tourist spots, consider finding peace and joy here. The thrilling beachside road journey is particularly enjoyable for city dwellers. When in Nagercoil, be sure to make a stop here! 🎉

This beach offers the opportunity to buy fresh fish at 7am in the morning. Unfortunately, the beach is heavily polluted with plastic spoons and human waste can be found on the beach in the early hours. Visitors should be cautious to avoid stepping on them until the beach is cleaned up. 😉
