Pristine and picturesque. A lovely spot to visit just before sunset. It's about a kilometer walk from the main road, so it's best to return before it gets dark.

🙂 The location is amazing and calm, situated along the ECR drive. Just a few minutes' walk will lead you to the beach. With greenery on one side and crystal-clear water on the other, it promises a blissful evening. The area is rarely crowded, offering an almost private beach experience. 🙄 However, the water can be dangerous due to its depth in many spots. With fewer people around, it can be unsafe, making it more suitable for groups rather than small families. The pathway is rugged, so watch out for thorns, and there are no shops nearby.

A good, secluded, and tranquil unofficial beach located on the ECR, just a few kilometers before Mahabalipuram from Chennai. This beach doesn't have a formal wide-open entrance; instead, you access it via an incline near the road. A short stretch of cement road ends where vehicles can be parked (though this area is actually a burial ground, the frequent visitors have made it a common spot). From there, a half-kilometer walk on the beach sand leads to a cluster of trees where people can find shade. It's advisable to visit in groups for safety reasons. Beyond the woods, you'll be greeted with a pleasant view of the beach bordered by greenery, making it a popular spot for photo shoots. The cleanliness is decent, though it's worth noting that this area is not officially maintained. Overall, it's a simple spot to relax and enjoy the ocean breeze.
