This surfing spot is known for its relaxed and laid-back atmosphere, with a massive beach covered in black sand. Unfortunately, there is a significant issue with litter near the nearby river.

This beach offers the most incredible sunset I have ever seen! I highly recommend bringing your loved ones here. It is located quite far from the city, making it ideal for those who appreciate a serene and tranquil beach experience. The waves are just the right size and there is not a single trace of litter in sight!

The beach is clean and has a friendly atmosphere. There are plenty of options for a relaxing vacation, and surfing at the river mouth has been enjoyable. The waves are large and smooth in the mornings when the wind is blowing offshore. The sunsets can be beautiful as long as the trade winds are not too strong.

This beach had a peaceful atmosphere and wasn't too crowded. The water was crystal clear and perfect for taking a leisurely stroll. There were areas with soft, charcoal-colored/black sand, as well as rocky sections. I managed to gather numerous tiny seashells. Every morning, surfers could be seen riding the waves. There were a few stray dogs hoping for a meal from anyone passing by. While there was some litter, it wasn't as bad as some other beaches in Bali. Overall, I preferred this beach over the more crowded ones in Bali.

8 Very good

The beach maintains its natural beauty, offering great waves for surfing. It's worth mentioning that the beach is free from plastic waste, and you can often spot local fishermen using traditional tools to catch fish. Overall, it's a lovely place to visit.
