Wow, where do I even begin? Kelingking beach is undoubtedly the most stunning and breathtaking beach I have ever had the pleasure of visiting. Words cannot even begin to describe the sheer beauty of this place - it's a must-see for anyone who loves nature and the great outdoors.
However, I must warn you that the trek down to the beach is not for the faint of heart, the elderly, children, or anyone who is not physically fit. It takes around 30 to 40 minutes to reach the beach, depending on your stamina and the number of people on the trail.
Luckily, there are proper steps and railings midway through the trek, which are a godsend. However, I wouldn't recommend trusting them completely - they may look sturdy, but better safe than sorry.
The second half of the trek is made up of natural mountain stones and broken steps, with railings continuing along the way. At certain points, the railings may be out of range, so ropes are provided to help you navigate the steep and narrow steps. The key is to bend your knees and take it slow, almost like descending a ladder.
The climb back up can be quite taxing, depending on your upper body strength, but trust me when I say that the hike is absolutely worth it.
Once you reach the beach, you'll be greeted by crystal-clear azure waters, warm sun on your skin, and soft white sand between your toes. It's easy to lose yourself in the timeless beauty of this place, almost as if you're living in the movie set of Avatar: The Way of the Water.
So, if you're up for a challenge and want to experience a slice of heaven on earth, make sure to visit Kelingking beach. You won't regret it!
