The beach offers a vast expanse of sand, albeit with a slight tinge of untidiness. However, it is still a decent spot to soak up the sun and enjoy the sea breeze. The admission fee is priced at 10,000 per individual.

I visited the beach on Chinese New Year and was surprised by the large crowd. Despite this, I found the beach to be fantastic and thoroughly enjoyed my time there. Additionally, there is a restaurant on the beach where I tried Ayam Penyet for only IDR 22,000 and Pempek for just IDR 6,000 (or IDR 3,000 each).

Nongsa Beach, located in the northeastern part of Batam, is a popular destination for locals and tourists alike due to its stunning white sandy beach and clear blue sea water that stretches for approximately 300 meters. Visitors can enjoy swimming, relaxing under the shade of a tree, and even renting tire buoys for a small fee. From the beach, you can also catch a glimpse of Singapore's high rise buildings in the distance. Another highlight of Nongsa Beach is the nearby Putri Island, which can be reached by a short 7-minute boat ride. Unlike Nongsa Beach, Putri Island remains unspoiled and free of litter, making it a great spot for a day trip. Visitors are advised to bring their own food and drinks as the island's warungs are only open on weekends and public holidays. Boat fares to Putri Island are negotiable and vary depending on the number of passengers.

This beach is absolutely stunning, with its pristine white sand. The ideal time to visit is around 5:00 PM, so you can marvel at the breathtaking sunset. If you're feeling adventurous, you can even take a boat to Pulau Putri for just Idr 40,000. Getting there is easy, as it's only a 30-minute car ride from Hang Nadim airport.
