If you're looking for a serene and peaceful getaway, this beach is the perfect destination for you. It's an ideal spot for camping, glamping, or just unwinding and enjoying the beautiful scenery. While the facilities and access to the venue could be improved, the pristine white sand and stunning views more than make up for it. It's the perfect place to escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life and indulge in some much-needed relaxation. Spend your weekend here and bask in the tranquil atmosphere that this beach has to offer.

10 Exceptional

In my humble opinion, the most picturesque beach in Batam is currently graced with its presence. The beach is immaculately kept and pristine, in stark contrast to other beaches in the vicinity. The restroom facilities are top-notch and equipped with showers, ensuring a refreshing post-swim experience. The parking lot is also quite expansive, providing ample space for vehicles. The entrance fee is quite reasonable, with a mere IDR 10k per person and an additional 5k for car parking. For the ultimate beach experience, I recommend visiting in the morning, around 6 or 7 am, to fully immerse yourself in the surroundings.

Nestled in the heart of Galang Island, Viovio beach is a true treasure waiting to be discovered. The journey to this hidden gem takes approximately an hour's drive from Batam Island, where the smooth road will lead you across the iconic Barelang bridge. As you approach the beach, the road becomes more challenging, but the reward is worth it. Viovio beach is a secluded paradise, with few visitors, making it the perfect place to unwind and enjoy the tranquility. The breathtaking sunset views are a sight to behold, with the white sand beach and crystal clear waters adding to the allure of this stunning location.

6 Pleasant

This serene and peaceful beach is a true gem and possibly the most well-equipped one in the area. Admission fee is Rp. 10.000 per person, but it's worth it. The beach is located about 50km south of Batam City, offering a secluded and tranquil atmosphere. The restroom facilities are among the best in the vicinity, ensuring a comfortable visit. The water is crystal clear and unpolluted thanks to its distance from the city, though the water quality can be affected by the weather and wind direction. Additionally, the manager is incredibly helpful and accommodating.

I had the pleasure of visiting this beach resort for the second time and was delighted to see that the road leading to it had improved significantly since my last visit a few months ago. Despite it being a Sunday morning in December, the resort was relatively uncrowded, likely due to its distance from Batam Centre. The area was spacious, with pristine white sand and noticeably cleaner than before. Unfortunately, my swimming experience was marred by the presence of jellyfish along the shore, which stung two of my friends. Thankfully, the resort staff were quick to provide vinegar as a first aid solution and informed us that it was jellyfish season. One thing to note is that the area can get quite hot, so I recommend visiting in the late afternoon to catch the stunning sunset. The resort only has two functional toilets and limited shower facilities, with a small fee for use. A wooden bridge along the shore and a Rumah Kelinci, where you can feed rabbits, are available for a small entry fee. It's worth mentioning that the resort operates using a generator, so staying overnight may not be the best option. Overall, I enjoyed my visit and appreciated the improvements made to the resort since my last trip.
