This beach in Jervis Bay is truly one of the best! It's just a 3km walk or paddle from Honeymoon Bay, and once you arrive, you'll be amazed by its pristine beauty. The fact that it's not too far away means that you often have the chance to enjoy this paradise-like spot all to yourself. However, it's important to make sure that the area is open before you visit. The Beecroft Peninsula is usually only open on weekends and during school holidays, so it's a good idea to check the Beecroft Ranger Station Facebook page or phone number. Otherwise, if you make the long drive from Huskisson/Vincentia and find it closed, it can be quite disappointing.

This place is absolutely beautiful! The beach has stunning white sand, amazing waves, and rocky cliffs that add to its charm. You can also see a boat that seems to have crashed on the rocks a while back. The walk from Honeymoon Bay Car Park is a pleasant and easy 5km. Unfortunately, there are no picnic tables or facilities at Silica Cove. It's definitely worth checking out if you're in the area!

To get to Silica Cove, simply drive through Honeymoon Bay campground until you reach a parking area. From there, walk through a green gate. Along the way, you'll come across a toilet facility. The walk to the beach is fairly easy and leads you to a stunning and peaceful shoreline. Additionally, there is a shipwreck located on the rocks. If you're up for it, you can either turn back or continue along the loop to also explore Target Beach. The signs are easy to follow throughout the route.

This Cove is amazing! The water is crystal clear, peaceful, protected from the wind, and teeming with fascinating marine creatures. It's a perfect beach for young children. We spotted numerous rays, plenty of fish, a large wobby, and even some sharks near the point, which was incredibly thrilling. The shipwreck is a fascinating sight to explore, but remember to bring your shoes. The only downside is the short walk to reach the beach, but it's not difficult at all, so we didn't mind it even with all our snorkeling equipment.
