I have never witnessed a more magnificent sunset than the one I experienced at Woonona Beach. Whether observing from the sandy shore, the rugged rocks, or the natural rock pool, this beach offers a truly delightful sight.
I must admit, I was so captivated by the allure of the rock pool that the surf at this beach hardly caught my attention. The rock pool is quite impressive, with a depth of at least 2 meters at its deepest point, providing ample space for swimming. Even with several people swimming laps, there was still plenty of room for children to frolic and play.
Nestled beautifully among the rocks, the rock pool is conveniently located just 5 meters away from a changing room and lookout point. The sandy beach, while stunning in its own right, did not hold the same appeal for me as the rock pool. I have a particular fondness for rock pools, and when one is as inviting as this one and offers a view of Mount Kiera, I simply cannot resist its charm.
