Fantastic spot for a BBQ. They offer free gas BBQs for use, though shaded seating is somewhat limited. Be prepared to spend about 15-20 minutes searching for parking on hot summer days. The restrooms and bathrooms have been recently renovated.

Maroubra Beach is a hidden gem when compared to Bronte Beach. It’s less crowded, has ample parking, and features delightful bakery coffee shops in the vicinity. Additionally, parking is easy and free of charge. A stroll to Mahon Pool offers an ideal spot for swimming and soaking up the sun.

A fantastic beach that I believe is often overlooked. It features a wonderful walk leading up to the cliffs, offering a breathtaking view of the ocean and the beach below. The toilet facilities are excellent, including options for disabled visitors, and there are great cafes right on the beach. Additionally, it's just a two-minute walk to the local club (Maroubra Seals), where you can enjoy a delicious meal at a reasonable price. Parking is convenient, and it's easily accessible by public transport, just a bus ride from Bondi Junction Station. There's also a fantastic children's playground area. I highly recommend a visit.

Honestly, this is one of the best beaches in Sydney. It's much less crowded than Bondi and Manly, which I find to be a bit overrated and usually packed with people. There's also a lovely park nearby for hiking, but be prepared for a bit of a walk.

In addition to the lovely sandy beach that many have praised, I find the rock formations along the north side particularly captivating. If you hop along the rocks for about 100 meters, you'll come across a cave formation that spans over 10 meters. For safety reasons, it's best to visit when the tide is low.
