Today, Milk Beach in Vaucluse was bustling with people enjoying a swim and having a good time. Situated at the base of Hermit Bay within Sydney Harbour National Park, this small, secluded beach is surrounded by the Heritage listed Strickland House. Offering stunning views of Sydney, Milk Beach is a hidden gem in the Eastern Suburbs. Access to the beach is limited, but it can be reached by public transport, boat, or with limited off-street parking available. There are plenty of activities to enjoy at Milk Beach, such as fishing, snorkeling, family picnics, or a leisurely walk along the Hermitage Foreshore.

The beach has a really nice view, but it is quite small. The walk along the cliffs is also really enjoyable.

The beach is clean and peaceful, offering a nice view of the city. The waves are gentle and the water is shallow, making it perfect for young children to swim. The nearby heritage national park coastal walk provides stunning views. It's a great spot for a picnic, and during the season, there are plenty of beautiful pinecones scattered around on the large grassy area, making it a great place for families with kids and pets.
